The short version

Wildflower is a specialty coffee cafe and streetwear brand based at 71 Cowper Street, Wallsend, NSW (Newcastle, Australia). Founded by Jack and Ri Bingham in 2018. We design and sell apparel in store and online at wldflwr.com.au, and pour coffee Monday to Saturday from our cafe next door.

The longer version

Jack and Ri Bingham started Wildflower in Wallsend in 2018, building the cafe from scratch in 100 days and blogging every step. They were 24 and 26 at the time. In 2020 they opened Wildflower Space next door, a creative retail space that became home to a fast-growing apparel brand. Today Wildflower is two connected businesses run by the same husband-and-wife team, with a small staff at the cafe and Jack handling apparel design, product development, photography, and fulfilment himself.

Wildflower's positioning sits at the intersection of specialty coffee culture and elevated streetwear, with both sides anchored to a single brand idea: you are valuable. The apparel is designed in house, manufactured ethically in Shenzhen (Jack and Ri visit in person), and shipped worldwide via Sendle (carbon-neutral). The cafe pours Glee Coffee, sourced from a small roaster 40 minutes down the road, with milk from family-owned Little Big Dairy Co.
