Newcastle Streetwear, Designed in House

Wildflower Space is the apparel side of Wildflower, based out of Wallsend in Newcastle, Australia. Jack designs every piece from scratch (not blanks with prints on them, the actual garment, every measurement, every stitch). We've visited our manufacturers in Shenzhen, walked through the fabric markets, and felt every cotton weight before we said yes to it.

It's a slower way to do things. It's more expensive. We don't really care. We'd rather take longer and put something out that you'll actually want to wear forever than rush something out that disappears after a wash.

What we make

Oversized tees (around 15 designs a year, often as limited drops), tank tops, track sets, hoodies, crews, beanies, caps, and our custom Wildflower socks (which people are obsessed with, including us).

The vibe is bold and graphic, drawing on luxury streetwear (Balenciaga, Fear of God, Gallery Dept) and Japanese fashion (we've spent a fair bit of time in Japan and it shows), but at a price point that makes sense for actual humans. Every design carries a message. Most of them come back to one idea: you are valuable. We don't say that as a tagline. It's the actual reason we make any of this.

Our drops

We drop new pieces every Friday at 6pm, online. Limited tees usually sell out fast, especially in the popular sizes (if you're an M or L, set a reminder). When something's gone it's gone for good. We don't restock limiteds.

How and where we make it

All our manufacturing happens in Shenzhen, China, with a team we've built a real relationship with over years. We check factory audits before we work with anyone and we won't move forward unless ethical practices are confirmed and ongoing. We've visited in person and we'll keep visiting.

Packaging is 100% compostable (tested in our own home compost). Orders ship via Sendle, which is carbon-neutral. Australia-wide flat rate, free over $150, and yes, we ship worldwide.

Where we live

We're based at 71 Cowper Street in Wallsend, a suburb of Newcastle, NSW. Wildflower Space (the store) is open Monday to Saturday, 8am to 12:30pm, right next door to our cafe. If you're in Newcastle, come see the pieces in person. Jack is usually there.

If you're not in Newcastle, that's what the online store is for. Pack and ship is handled by Jack himself, usually within 24 hours.
